I guess it's symbolic, it's a reminder here at the end of the year.

Of impermanence, that means not permanent.

Impermanence meaning that nothing in the,

I guess we could say nothing in the material world, the physical world, nothing in the material or physical world

lasts forever, nothing lives forever.

At least not in the physical world. It reminds us of our mortality, again the same idea when we're talking about lives or our own life. Mortality is the reality, the truth that we all die, that everything ends, that all life ends.

Again, not speaking spiritually, just speaking in terms of the material and physical world.

On a smaller level it just means that everything everything changes. I mean that's the other way of looking at impermanence

Is the reality of change. So even while you are alive, things will change in your life. Your body change your mind will change you learn different things
