I am calling to leave you a message about a very memorable spring break trip that happened when I was a sophomore in college on the spring of 2001.

So I am a humongous U-2 fan, and I have traveled to, I think, it's five countries now and seen them several dozen times live.

But the very first time I ever got to see them live was spring break 2001.

And I traveled from college in Massachusetts down to Florida with a friend of mine, shout out to Ashley, who was game for an adventure.

Every little bit of the trip seemed to go in our favor. I think it was Ashley had some

airline points that got us discounted tickets on the way down. We flew down. We showed up at the

hotel and they did not have our reservation. And so they

moved us to a sibling hotel and comped our stay. We went and waited. This was the opening of

U2's elevation tour. We went and waited and got way up front down on the floor. I had a fabulous time at the concert.

I ran into a high school friend in the crowd who had also loved you to with me in high school.

At the end of the concert, instead of paying for another night of hotel, we thought we'll just sleep on the floor at the airport.

And we had made some really lovely friends waiting in line

who were also there from out of town.

We went to an I-Hop really late at night

with these two guys that we had met.

We had mounds of pancakes.
