They lead the focused marriage team, and Aaron Aaron you counsel a lot of couples what do you see is

typically the first emotions a couple feels after an affair has been revealed

so many emotions and so many big emotions.

You know, things like shock and disbelief, anger, sadness,

betrayal, confusion, fear, anxiety, I mean the list goes on.

And it's just very, of course, the devastation of it all coming out.

I mean, it just absolutely is going to stir up big, big emotions.

I will often encourage a couple when they have just learned of this,

maybe even sometimes they've learned about the affair in my office,

to encourage them to be very cognizant of more damage can be done after the affair is revealed based on how we handle this.

And where are we going?

What direction are we going?

Are we working towards restoration of the relationship and of the marriage?

It's going to take a season of healing, but just to be very intentional about not creating further damage and destruction.

Well, I love that because especially when you think of of that verse in your anger do not sin.
