personal knowledge of him who called us by and to his own glory and excellence.

That one verse could make a four-part series.

God has called us to be excellent, not mediocre.

Excellent.

Boy, we're missing that in the world today.

Excellent people don't leave messes for other people to clean up.

But that's not my message tonight.

And he said, it comes through the full personal knowledge of him.

You can't have the kind of life that God wants you to have on your grandma's faith,

or on mama's faith,

or on the God your pastor knows.

You need to know Him.

And this is eternal life that we would know God.
