Are you afraid of the dark?

And I don't just mean turning off the lights.

I mean, the things that you can't see in the dark, things that can hurt you.

When you can't see, you can't protect yourself.

You can't defend and prepare.

You can't do anything but be totally vulnerable.

Well, in this devotion this morning, I want you to think about the fact that the greatest

danger to your spiritual life and to your family is not something out there. It's actually

something inside here and inside here. It's called blind spots. They're areas where we think

we see clearly, but we actually don't. And they quietly shape my decisions,

my reactions, my relationships, and yours too. The good news is, God and His Mercy has given us a way

to see in our blind spots. And by the end of this devotional, I'm hoping you're going to understand

exactly what he's given us and how to use it. Hey, before we go any further into this morning

many people and lots of people are sort of looky-lose and I don't trust them.
