1:21.1	mother-in-law and for the immediate people who were supporting him, how he went preaching throughout Galilee, the cities of Galilee,
1:31.3	to call people to follow him. And we've come now to this section on Jesus and the unclean,
1:38.0	where a leper comes to him. This is a very dramatic, very important moment because leprosy was a great scourge in the ancient world.
1:49.9	It was a terrible disease.
1:51.5	There was nothing they could do about it.
1:53.3	You became a social outcast.
1:55.8	So the practical consequences of leprosy were terrible.
2:00.1	Very often leprosy so damaged the nerves
2:03.9	and the extremities that when you slept at night, rats could come and eat off your fingers
