It seems as though every eight or nine, ten years I am struck again by how confused people

are about the church and what the church is.

And it almost needs to be redefined again.

I think we're at that kind of time now.

It's been a number of years since we have explicitly looked at what the Word of God

says about the church.

We are the church.

We live as the church.

We are the living, breathing church of Jesus Christ.

So we understand our own life.

We understand it clearly as we have endeavored to pattern it after the Word of God.

But there are so many who don't understand.
