I do not think they work fundamentally.

Obviously, The Undertaker is the pinnacle of the genre.

He debuted in a way more heightened and wacky world but then you know back in the early 90s

another earned thing happened and it was terrible and I know you got resurrected but like

1991 Undertaker was just putting people in body bags and being ominous and trapping people in caskets and stuff.

It's when you got the powers.

It's one of those, like, I'm not the best person to ask because I have an intense bias against dark characters.

And the idea of supernatural powers

in the context of pro wrestling.

It has it ever worked post-Undertaker?

And it just does not mesh. It is just strange to be like, I have the power of a thousand souls, which is why I want the world heavyweight title.

Yeah, it's like, it's one of those when you unpack it and unpack it, the more ridiculous it gets.

Again, like, God rest his soul, Windham Rotunda, but Bray Wyatt, when he was sort of, I don't know, the powers were imposed upon him.
