Welcome to what drives you. I'm Kevin Miller at 53. I've had a lot of wins. I've

posted some impressive numbers and I've had tragic losses and severe burnout that

gives me some regret for a lot of those achievements.

So I've devoted myself to a quest to understand myself, to understand peace and prosperity,

to find what truly fulfills, to pop the illusions of so many of our cultural beliefs.

So I investigate and contemplate and educate on human potential and I share it here. I don't think we want mere happiness. We want our lives

and our days to truly matter. In this episode, your purpose and calling and don't worry about saving the world. I think at the end of the day we'd all give up

anything. Happiness, acclaim, status, just about anything just to have purpose, something we care to wake up to and pursue

that had any meaning to us.

And I'm going to take that beyond family, which I'll speak to in a moment. But I finally often handicap our thoughts towards Purpose and Colin by feeling it must be huge.

My kids dealt with this and I had to retract some of my own perspectives.

Well, in the last episode, I talked with Scott Harrison,

celebrity humanitarian who has taken one out of six people in the world having access to clean water down to only one out ten.

It's amazing. Truly, he's changing the world.

Yet the greatest benefit of purpose is not what your purpose does for other people

but what it does for you. I didn't have Scott on the show to talk about the people he saved.

I had him on the show to talk about how he saved himself.
