So welcome to another T-Rex talk, and this one I have a very special guest. In previous episodes,

I have referred you guys to some legal analysis from the YouTube channel, Fudd Busters.

And I will link in the show notes to a pretty recent live stream that was, as the Bruin decision,

was handed down by the Supreme Court, Matt, you went through that thing,

read it live, had your thoughts unspooling as you went, had a lot of good content. So I'm going to link

that to the show notes because that was tremendous. But now that you've kind of digested a little bit,

what are some of your thoughts on that particular ruling? And we probably

don't have time. It's very late at night for those of you listening. We're not going to get into

like super precise legal analysis of exact, exact application here for a bunch of reasons.

One, I don't know how. Number two, it's pretty early. But now that you've been sitting on this

analysis for a week and mulling it over and thinking about it, what are your thoughts?

Well, I mean, that's a big question, right? I mean, I've certainly got a lot of thoughts on the matter.

And like you said, when the decision came down, I think my live stream was like two and a half hours.

And that's just reading the main opinion and processing through all of the implications.

I was doing it.

I had never done that before.

I'm not usually a live guy.

I usually pre-recorded everything.

So it was very interesting how big it was. You all have to understand that this is

huge. We have not had, everyone always talks about Heller and McDonald and, you know, how great

they are. But in terms of legal substance, they left way too much to the lower courts imagination.

And thus, you know, in 2008 is when we started really seeing in earnest challenges to various gun control laws.
