Another solo show this week.

I'm getting to like them.

We may end up doing them on a semi-regular basis because it helps in co-hearing my thoughts around particular issues.

So I guess that's one of the main reasons, the other is I've been a little unwell this week, which turned out to be

a blessing because it allowed me to ruminate over the course of about five or six, you know, bedridden days as to what I wanted to say and think about and really this whole Syria escalation has kind of been squatting in the middle of the road

creatively and it's something that should probably be addressed rather than ignored. It's proving a little bit too difficult to do so.

And to begin, I suppose...

Well, the Chaos Protocols was... I suppose.

Well, the Chaos Protocols was written for this time. That's how it got its name.

The publisher initially, when they approached me,

wanted a How-To Chaos Magic magic book but I said there were enough

of them already and quite frankly the only good ones are the first ones so you

know we we stretched my literary ability to its capacity and built a single

additional meaning into the title.

F funnily enough one of the rejected titles was five minutes to midnight and the publisher said that might be unclear to you know a majority of Americans what that referred to but I expect it would be a bit clearer now.

Anyway, the book opens with a McKenna quote.

The problem is not to find the answer,

it's to face the answer.

And that's worth sitting with for a bunch of reasons, the first
