Today, we're going to talk about the microbiome and cancer.

Is there any connection of increasing cancer or decreasing cancer?

Well, there sure is.

And I think it's a neglected area.

When we talk about the immune system, we always talk about

the thymus gland, the lymphatic system, but the microbiome has a huge impact

over your immune system.

Roughly about 70% of your immune system is located in the gut.

So, number one, the microbiome, all your friendly bacteria,

had a direct anti-cancer effect.

They affect the immune system, the innate, which is something you're born with.

And the microbiome are chemo-protective, which means that they protect you from cancer.

I mean, if you think about when people take antibiotics,
