I wanted to share some of the benefits of this phrase that we repeat so often

that is loaded with so much benefit.

We talked about some of the means in which we come close to Allah

subhanahu wa ta'ala in du'aah and we said the first one,

at tawhassud il Allah bil iman.

But we know that the very first way that the Qur'an starts

with the praise of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

And I think that there are two things that I want us to actually take home.

Number one, how merciful is Allah that the best du'a

is the one that comes most natural to the muslims.

You'll find that many muslims who don't say anything but as-salamu alaikum,

the other thing that they incorporate in their conversation much is alhamdulillah.

The Prophet ﷺ, he said in an authentic Hadith from Jabirubnu Abdullahu

ala'an Hukala, ala alaihi salat wa salam,

afidurud dikri, la ilaha illa Allah wa afidurud du'aah alhamdulillah.

The Hadith of Jabirubnu Abdullahu anhu da-tumassajib Allah

Saddullahi wa sallam said,

the best form of remembrance is la ilaha illa Allah.

And the best du'a, the best supplication is alhamdulillah.

It is the best form of du'aah to the point that some of the

Pyce predecessors, they used to say that we would say alhamdulillah
