0:18.7	So I just started following you guys, and me and my wife got married last year,
0:23.1	and we sold our house and moved to a less busy area that was actually cheaper.
0:28.5	And so we came into kind of a windfall of money through that.
0:31.5	So after our down payment and everything, and we have our six months reserve,
0:35.3	we have about $60,000 in the bank that we're looking to do something with.
0:39.3	And given my situation during college, I qualified for the full $20,000 relief package to the new Biden student loan forgiveness.
0:51.0	And obviously, that's in the limbo right now.
0:52.7	So my question is, I have about $36,000 left in student loan debt.
0:57.4	Should we just pay it off right now, or should we wait to see what happens?
1:02.2	Okay.
1:04.4	Well, the thing I have figured out is over the years that, well, I mean, we just need to preface this, Jacob,
1:13.7	with I'm old, okay? And I have seen a lot of promises that were going to fix my life
1:21.5	come from Washington, D.C. The number of them that have materialized is approaching zero.
1:29.4	And so what I discovered long time ago is that people that wait on the government to fix their lives generally have lives that suck.
