Number two, share my thoughts with humility.

When you enter into the discussion time in your small groups, you don't go

to show off. You're not trying to impress people. You leave your ego and your logo at the

door. And you come in with a sense of, I just want to learn. And you come in not to impress,

but you come in to express what you are feeling, what you

are learning.

The Bible says in Romans 1216, don't try to act important, but enjoy the company of ordinary

people.

That's what a small group is, just a bunch of ordinary people.

And don't think you know it all. Nothing

ruins a small group faster than one person in the group acting like they're a know-it-all,

they're a Bible authority or scholar. That doesn't work. It's not true. Humility means being

teachable. The Bible says, God, resist the pride, gives grace to the humble. Why? Because humble people

are teachable.
