I've learned along the way that often our struggles, our challenges, our adversities, what we've

been through, whether they feel big and dramatic or more minor in nature, they become our credentials, right?

They're not disqualifiers. They're not bad things. They're not things to hide. They become

our credentials. I ask myself this all the time where I repeat myself all the time in the work

that I do, that your life is your cred. And I think to myself, if what I've

been through is my cred, how can I lean in more? What else is it that I have to give? If you're in any

of my media programs, you'll hear me say often, your life is your cred, getting out of debt,

your fertility story, your traveling adventures, getting through a divorce,

figuring out something, a solution to a problem, they're your credentials. It's enough. You are

ready to bless others with what it is that you know. But if you feel lost, if you feel uncertain

around this time, sometimes it's because we're asking

the wrong questions.

And often a question that comes up when we're self-focused, when we're focus on what we want

to do next is, you know, what do I want?

What matters to me?

What's my passion?

And look, they are good questions.

But sometimes a better question, a more expansive question, is this, what am I here to give? It's not what do I want,

what do I want, what do I want, although nothing wrong with that. Desires are powerful,

they're appropriate, They're perfect.

But what if we shift to what am I here to give? Are you here to bring joy? Are you here to bring solutions? Are you here to make the environment better? Are you here to encourage people to read?
