lesson comes from Rich. And who better to read it than our own rich here at the Motley Fool,

Here's my lesson from a stock I own. Don't buy stocks based solely on what you hear,

It was in part thanks to David Gardner's RBI five-stock samplers that led me to pick Mercado Libre when I did. I simply got tired of hearing how much it gained with each

sampler it was a part of. So I followed up with my own research and then started a small position.

Today, it is one of my top three holdings,
