I was about to inherit $25,000.

We've been collecting your stories about inheritance. I inherited about

$250,000 which I used to help buy a business that I own now. About $10,000 from my mom a couple years back.

Maybe 150,000?

Between 150 and 200,000, somewhere around there.

You told us about the big stuff. An incredible inheritance, including a house and

France. And the small stuff. I did get a shoehorn that I still use today.

And how it feels like an entirely unique category of money.

I feel like I haven't done anything to earn this shame that I've somehow cheated my way onto the

home ownership ladder because it's attached to death it's attached to the deaths of people

I care very deeply about.
