It's news-ish with Betty.

I don't know about you but these last few weeks before Christmas

time have filled up in the next few days I have four Christmas parties. No you

don't as well as help with shopping packing and delivering packages for

Meals on wheels and I have to just drop that yeah yeah I have to prove it once a year.

I still want to see pictures because right now I don't believe it.

Well and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Most people find themselves feeling the busiest they ever have during the holiday season.

And one article I found claims that if it's getting to be too much and you feel a bit burnt

out creeping on you, it's okay to politely decline one or more social

gatherings. Most of the time we don't turn down an invitation because we don't want

to hurt the host's feelings.

And we're afraid we're putting ourselves in jeopardy

of not being invited to anything ever again.
