One thing that I've learned throughout life that has really really made it easier for me

It almost cuts the time it takes me to achieve something in half

It brings me peace. It allows me to come back to my

steadiness no matter what's going on outside of me. Is this simple truth that's

really hard to accept sometimes,

especially when our emotions are running high.

It's this, your emotions are not reliable.

Oh, they're not.

Your emotions can betray you.

And it doesn't feel like that should be the case because they're

our emotions right and we possess them and they must be showing us something

pointing the way towards something, they must be true and accurate and fair.

My friends, this is not to negate how you feel in a certain situation if you feel sad,

if you feel frustration, if you feel any negative emotion specifically in this case. But the way that I think

about it is this. When I've made decisions in my past that I probably wouldn't make again.

Maybe I lashed out at someone or I even behaved in a way that I'm maybe a bit embarrassed about now,

or maybe I spent two or three days feeling, you know,

sad and shut down and dejected because someone I believed in the moment rejected me.

Those experiences with my emotions that led to an action that

gosh I just I simply wouldn't relive it in the same way now. It gives me this hardcore data of the fact that our emotions are not reliable.
