Coming down in 3, 2, and welcome once again to 32 Thoughts, the podcast.

This podcast will actually be spread out in two parts.

We're going to do our season preview.

Today's podcast will focus on the Eastern Conference and tomorrow's podcast.

LA will focus on the West, but before we get to any of that, we'll share with you some

news and the very latest as to what's happening around the NHL and for the purposes of this

podcast, what's happening around hockey and what's happening around hockey Canada specifically.

So later on this week, there'll be a hockey Canada board meeting.

So obviously, this is a important and potentially newsworthy week for hockey Canada.

And this will be a moment for the 13 members that do things amongst others, decide who's

on the board and we'll get to Andrea Skinner here in a couple of moments.

This will be a chance for the 13 members to have their voices heard.

And so that'll be British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Hockey North, which

is Northwest Territories in Yukon.

The Atlantic Provinces Quebec Ontario, which has three members, Hockey North, Hockey East

and the OHF.

So this will be a chance for them to have their say about what's happening right now with

Hockey Canada.

All of this now, Elliot, after the news of the weekend, which was that Andrea Skinner

has resigned as interim chairman of the board for Hockey Canada.
