Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters. We're going to vote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. Good morning indeed. We are

picking up with day three of our renamed devotional. In the Bible app there's a link to that in the

description if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture

then Tori is going to pick up with the Devo. Let's do it. The scripture is Romans chapter 8 verses

1 and 2 and it says this. So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus

and because you belong to him the power of the life giving spirit has freed you from the power of

sin that leads to death. The devotional is titled free indeed and it says this as kids most of us

loved to swing. There was something about swinging and going as high as we could in the air.

It made us feel happy and free. Being free brings with it such a sense of relief

that we can feel as though we don't have a care in the world. Our burdens have been lifted.

Freedom is something we all desire. As a result of sin in the earth and in our lives we lose our

freedom. Sin condemns us. Condemnation tries to stamp us with an identity of lawbreakers and

criminals unworthy of freedom. Without Christ we find punishment, death and eternal separation

from God. Out of God's great love for us the bridge to freedom was created. Instead of the label

of lawbreakers and criminals he calls us his children. Instead of condemnation he heaps grace

upon us. Instead of living as slaves to sin he gives us freedom to live for him. In lieu of the

law of sin and death he gives us life abundant life. Envision your own identity. Realize when you

are in Christ you no longer need to bear the shame of your sins. Instead you have a new identity

based on freedom and love. This new identity brings a great sense of purpose and relief.

Just like you felt as a kid swinging you can feel that same sense of joy and relief knowing that

you no longer have to give into the sin that leads you down the road of condemnation. You have
