Welcome to the Bad Broadcast. I'm your host, Maddie Murphy.

Hello everybody, welcome back to a new episode of The Bad Broadcast. My name is Maddie,

I'm your host. I'm so grateful and happy that you're here. I'm just, I'm absolutely tickled

that you decided to put me in your ear holes for the next hour or so. We made it through. We made it

through the worst month, which is August. I guess last week's episode was technically in September,

but I forgot to mention it then, that I think August is the worst month. It's the absolute worst.

It's too hot. There's no good holidays. And one of my friends the other day was talking to me,

I can't remember who's I talking to about this. Anyway, she was saying that she feels like we all

collectively get sad in August, which I agree with. And I always contributed it, contributed it

to just being a sweaty person. So August is like my nemesis. But she was saying that she feels

like we all get depressed because growing up, it was when summer was ending and we were going back

to school. So we were all kind of sad all the time through August, which could be, absolutely could

be. So a lot of you guys are starting school. You guys probably have kids in school, send in them

off. I bet when your mom and school starts, it's actually really great about sending your kids off

and getting them on a schedule is amazing. And I bet a lot of you guys listening started school.

I wish I could start school again. I think about it a lot. I think about going back to college.

All right, you know what? I'm just going to tell this story. I wasn't even going to tell this story,

but like mid July, I was like, okay, I'm going to go back to school. I'm going to go finish my degree.

I just want to get my degree in something like something that I never would have done before,

but that I'm super interested in. Like I'm going to study film. That was what I wanted to study.

So I go to my previous college that I went to because I wanted to see if I had an associate's degree.
