So in today's boxes, we had protein, which I think there were chicken patties.

Stacey Nicholas is a director at a nonprofit in Northeast Missouri,

On a given day, we see between 80 and 100 families, we're open three days a week,

Nicholas says normally about half the folks who visit the pantry are under 18 years old,

or over 65, ages where it would be harder to provide for yourself. But where Nicholas is,

In a given month, we see between 40 and 50 percent of our clients our first-time users.

We see a lot more families than we used to, people with children, because they just don't have the

Hunger was a problem in rural Missouri before March 2020, but it's an even bigger problem now,
