He seemed like such a good young man when he went off to Congress

Wore a coat and a tie and he wasn't like those layabouts and lazies and hippies and crazies and

he's a fine young man who cares about our country Maybe he served in the military.

Goes to church. Got a pretty wife, a couple of kids, they take a pretty picture.

He's done all the right things to look like what a congressman's supposed to look like.

And his resume is perfect.

It's almost as if being a congressman is its own career choice now.

Wasn't how the plan was supposed to work.

Representative Democracy did not mean professional politicians.

And why you may wonder why such an attraction to being a congressman?

What is it about being a congressman?

It's $174,000.

That's not a millionaire, but I bet most Americans would gladly take that paycheck, gladly take that paycheck. And then, unlike those of you who have a direct boss, you don't have a specific

time you have to show up to work. You have to stay to a particular time.

You know, a lot of you get 15 minutes to grab your sandwich, eat it, scarf it down, wolf it down, get back to work.

They don't have that problem.

You have to bring your lunch from home

or pay for your own lunch if you go out. That gets expensive fast.

They don't have that problem.

Lobbyists are always

happy to do that. You don't have access to you can't afford tickets to the game. They
