We got on to the singularity

It actually came up with my son yesterday

We were riding in the car

When computers

Get smarter than people

And are smart enough to program themselves is an event called

the singularity and my son immediately jumped in as a nine-year-old said and that's when

they'll kill us all and take over the world which is I just thought as interesting that

that's where his mind went that's where a lot of the books and movies about this sort of thing go also.

There's just this assumption that will happen. I think because we're assigning human needs and desires to computers that don't exist.

But, um, so I went to a couple of different websites about the singularity. It is pretty mind blowing. Um, it will a point, and this particular guy thinks it's going to be 2045,

but all of the predictions are, you know,

in my lifetime if I lived to be an old man.
