in and through our student ministry?

Amen, amen, amen, praise God.

All right, if you got your Bibles, you better.

First Timothy, chapter five, we're gonna cover

verses 17 through 25.

This is the ninth week as we've been walking through

this letter from the Apostle Paul, to young Timothy, who is the pastor week as we've been walking through this letter from the

Apostle Paul, to young Timothy, who is the pastor of the church at Ephesus. It's called the

pastoral epistles. You'll see why here, especially, because Paul is showing Timothy how to

run a church. And so this is super insider baseball in our time together today. So a part of what

we're going to do is Paul is going to be talking

specifically about how Timothy runs elders and pastors that are on staff at the church,

but there's a bunch of application to all of us, all right? And essentially, what he's going to

teach him today is one of the most countercultural things you'll ever encounter in your whole life.

And the idea is that we're in this family together, and because we're in this family together,

your business is my business.

And my business is your business.

How many have ever heard the phrase?

Well, that's none of my business.
