We want the process to look pretty. We want the process to be glamorous.

Now when you trade your way through it, you gotta look ugly sometimes.

Sometimes it's, sometimes it's you getting beat up to say, I survived that, that's more powerful.

Sometimes the fortitude that'll take you to persevereign and do it. Sometimes it's the punch in the face that mean more than the victory.

A lot of people think trading is about like buying anything. it's about selling, right?

But I have a new perspective when I think about it.

It's, what are you willing to give up to move forward?

When I think about the trade.

And so when I think about that,

I thought about this analogy of swimming.

And I remember, you know, when you born in probably the 70s and I'm born in the 80s, you didn't learn how to swim in a traditional pool.

Oftentimes you ask somebody from the 80s how they learn how to swim because somebody threw them in a body of water.

And it wasn't always a pool. They threw them in a body of water, preferably a river or a lake or a canal. Whatever it was. You threw them in a body of water, especially from the south, and you figured it out. You almost drowned, but you figured it out. And one of the things you did along the journey is as you learned how to swim,

you learned how to trade.

Because you had to start realizing that in certain bodies of water,

you had to change formation.

You had the doggie paddle at one point,

and then you had to do this in one point.

Then you learned how to do the little butterfly.

And then you learned how to do the little.. And then you learn how to do the little,

so you had to learn how to trade because you started realizing

that fighting the current was the worst thing you could do.
