Well, this is long overdue.

I have meant to have you on the Sochiology 101 podcast since the very beginning because I know you wrote your book back about the time I was beginning the program, it seems.

And I was always so

thoroughly impressed with your writing ability. You are gifted in that, and I've always appreciated

how kind you have been in your, I guess, controversial views with regard to Calvinism. You've always expressed yourself in such a way that has shown respect to those that you disagree with.

And I appreciate that about you.

I appreciate your own testimony.

I appreciate your story.

I've heard interviews with you so long over the years that there was a part of me that was like, well,

if I have him on again, I have to ask him the basic same questions. But I think there's been

enough time that has passed that I kind of wanted to get your perspective even now since the

writing of the book, young, restless, and no longer reformed. And how long ago did you write that book, Austin?

Gosh, it would be nine, eight, probably about eight years ago at this point.

Yeah.

And I know that the title was a playoff of what Colin Hanson's article on young restless and

reformed, where he's really talking about the resurging of Calvinism.
