seasons in review.

Let's get started with the good ol sacrameno kings.

Well I guess they're more old than good, but still 25 and 53, 2 and 5 since the last

15 and 16, including that win on Sunday against the Lakers, 29th and net rating at negative

8.1 points per 100 possessions, then 29th and offense, 28th and defense and the current

5.38 projections give them 26 wins after the one yesterday, which would put them with

the 6th most ping pong balls if that held.

Yeah and considering that net rating, they have been such a lucky team this year, it's

something that we've discussed so often, but maybe old is not necessarily the way to

characterize them because they have just so many of these young guys and we noted I think

it was that they had 8 guys at the start of the season on rookie contracts.

One of them Harry Giles didn't play it all this year so we won't spend any time on him.

But let's start with the most heralded of those players, Deer and Fox, who is 20, when

we say these ages, it's their ages as of February 1st this year, their age 20 season as

according to basketball reference, makes things a little easier to remember, warrior initial

impressions of him this season.

It's been a little bit remarkable for me how much Fox has been like my expectations, you

and I saw him at the hoop summit before his year at Kentucky and Fox's key attributes

were his intensity, especially defensively he would just get into guys and then offensively

you know he could get to a space but then you always wondered whether he was going to be

able to finish and then his jump shot looks shaky and so those elements are broadly in
