Appreciate the introduction like them, it's a, it was a really cool experience for me as

it tends to be when these kind of things happen.

To meet somebody and really discover that not necessarily the world is a whole but especially

the AA world is very, very small and I find more and more that with even just the smallest

amount of effort, you know, sometimes just showing up, you can get some pretty amazing

rewards and a lot of that, a lot of time that comes in the form of realizing that you

share the same ideas or that you might have certain teachers that you both follow and

when you both do that somewhat blindly, say if it's a speaker that you both like and

you've never even met this person yet, you can sit there and have an interesting conversation

as if you were talking about a philosopher or, you know, that is a cool experience for

me and before it was an experience that I could really only get when I was sitting at

a bar stool and I was really trying, whatever, I was trying the hardest side I could not

to feel alone in the world and I would really stretch in order to find an association

with somebody.

Now I find that all I have to do is show up and be honest and a little bit willing and

all of a sudden I get this entire world, you know, as a reward and it's something I

truly don't deserve, you know, but I'm very grateful for it.
