is going back, baby, way back to the 70s, in fact. Yes, the brown suede clog, once beloved by

librarians and Joni Mitchell, has decidedly younger wearers in a chokehold at the moment.

Birkenstock's Boston clog, the classic cork-bottomed shoe and a very specific

top color, is sold out in almost every size on Burkinstock's website, according to the New York Times.

The paper of record also noted that the shoe has become a rare commodity, with resellers having a, quote, field day with the raving demand.
