You know when my boys were younger

I used to tell my wife look

We got to have a strategy going into how we're going to address this issue you stayed up too late you you weren't supposed to come and grab your laptop out of our bedroom, which we keep in our

bedroom, so in the middle of the night a kid's not tempted to start surfing on the internet or emailing their buddies or whatever else.

Well, just like I would have done, there's that moment where your kid goes into your bedroom and grabs your laptop.

So now how do we deal with that? So talking

about a strategy and I remember telling my wife on occasion when we were

putting together, I'm going to be very harsh about this. The punishment is going to be more harsh than you might have expected because this is important on a number of levels and young men need to be disciplined in a way that it has meaning for them.

They need to be disciplined differently than women.

You've got to kind of snap the... need to be disciplined differently than women.

You got to snap the reins there.

Let them know this is not going to be tolerated.

And every single time, my wife would say, you know I felt that was that was you

taking away the phone for three months, whatever punishment it was at

time she said you know I didn't I really didn't get the stern

talk and the taking away the phone which was a huge burden because now how do they

tell me you know what time to pick them up for this or whatever but I now realize

young boys do need that. Young boys respond

better to that. It's why so many people say that military was good for them at 18 when they were directionless because the military gave them structure

So do with that way. It's another work week in the books
