Hi, everyone. Welcome to church today and a big hello to all of our campuses across the state of Alabama and Georgia.

And as always, a big hello to the men and women in the Alabama Department of Corrections.

We love you all so much. And happy Memorial Day weekend. Today we honor those who have served and are serving our country, but especially those who gave their lives for our freedom. Today we remind ourselves that freedom isn't free, and we thank God for the brave sacrifice

of those who gave their lives so that we could be free. May God bless their families, and may God

bless the United States of America. Amen. Now, as most of you know, Tammy and I are on a break,

but before we left, I recorded this video so I could tell you about our service today. Today is our eighth year in a row where we have

what we call Young Communicators Weekend. Now, what is that? Well, at Church of the Highlands,

we really believe in developing young leaders

and building leaders who we believe

have a call of God on their lives for ministry,

and we're gonna let them speak to us today.

Today we're gonna have four different communicators

at our four live services broadcasting to all of our campuses.

Now, many of these young leaders have never done anything

like this before in their entire lives.

So you get to be a part of something that God is doing in them

and be a part of their development as a leader and speaker.

I'll never forget my first time I spoke on a

Sunday. I was 20 years old, and it really wasn't that great, but my pastor kept encouraging me to speak.

And I am where I am today because I was given the chance to grow. So here's what I want you to do.
