I'm a 27 year old male and I'm stuck in a dilemma with my girlfriend, hopefully future fiancé one day.

I've been working in my job for the last five and a half years and excelled really well, making great money.

My girlfriend and I have been in a relationship for the last

three years and things definitely haven't been the smooth smoothest of rides i had a situation last year

which resulted in our splitting up no fault other than my own that's what they say i wasn't in the best of

spaces both mentally spiritually and physically this led to me seeking out wrong things to

find happiness again rather than being open and relying on my partner wrong things I hope it's not

bonani oh oh dear um I met a girl and we exchanged flighty text messages back and forth for quite some

time my girlfriend found out about this and my girlfriend found out,

and shock broke up with me.

I gave her space and we eventually rectified things

and that period really changed my whole outlook on life.

I prioritised her feelings above all

and started to see her as my safe space.

Things have been amazing ever since then.

Now, my job involves a lot of interaction and there

is generally a lot of women in my office. My girlfriend knows this. We've been speaking about marriage

this year and things are getting really serious, which has been exciting on my side. I want to make

her my wife and spend my life with her. She knows this. Randomly, she pulled me up for a conversation one night and spoke about wedding, marriage and whatnot, then mentioned things about my job. She expressed how she doesn't feel comfortable that there are a lot of women in my workplace. And if we were to progress towards marriage, I'd have to think about leaving my job and searching for a new one. Hey! I've worked hard to get to this point where I'm making six figures. Aye! I'm respected in my organisation. I felt this was very unfair and now she makes it, now she's made it a make or break situation. Wow. What do I do in this? Am I overreacting to think this is a crazy thing to do? Nah, that's kind of crazy, you know. Let me not even, let me not even lie. Six figures. I know that you shouldn't be, you shouldn't be focusing on the amount where we're focusing on it. Six figures! Sorry, we're focusing on that amount when we're talking about marriage and future.
