Hello, fellow robo capital, hope you're well. Donald Trump comes out with a new solution for high home prices.

And the punchline here is it is not a free market approach to say the least.

In fact, it's very similar to what you would expect from the guy in New York, Mandami, or whatever his name is.

He and Trump are actually really similar in a lot of ways, maybe not their approach,

the personalities, of course, but their policies, very, very similar, a lot of them.

So let's go over to Trump's solution here.

We're going to, well, there's no way to sugarcoat this guys.

It's straight socialism at this point. Trying to give Trump the benefit of the doubt,

but this is just straight central planning. So let's go to the Wall Street Journal.

Here's the punchline. Trump moves to ban large investors from

buying single family homes. Now, I know a lot of people will, and what's odd too is that there

are people that prior to Trump being elected would be like, yeah, I'm all for the free market.

I'm for free market capitalism. I'm for letting these things play out. You know,

the politicians shouldn't get involved. I hate Biden's central planning. But then all of a sudden,

when Trump does it, now of a sudden it's a good idea. And the excuse that I always hear from people is that,

well, okay, we don't have a free market, George. Okay. Yeah, yeah, we don't have a pure free market, George.

Okay.

Yeah, yeah, we don't have a pure free market.

Sure.

But does that mean that the only solution is more central planning or that the solution should be less central planning?

So in another thing, too, this really highlights something that I remember vividly from Henry Haslett's book, Economics in One Lesson.
