I went to see this movie when I was 11 called Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Did you ever seen it?

No. You haven't? Okay. Well, it's a musical, a singing and dancing musical about Jane Powell,

who is sort of a blonde, cute thing about in her 20s, and she's working as a cook and this this backwoodsman comes in to get a wife

and he spots her and he asked her to marry him and she she's struck by love actually and she

says yes even though let me tell you he hasn't done a thing really to charm her, except they do some singing.

Anyway, she marries him, and she goes to the backwoods, and when she gets there, it turns out he has six brothers, who are the biggest slabs in the world. And she gets to wake up at

six in the morning and make flapjacks and biscuits and whatever for these seven perfectly horrible

brothers. And she turns them into princes. She teaches them to sing. She teaches them to dance. She teaches them

manners. She says it is,. She teaches them to dance. She teaches them manners. She says,

it is, it's a real messed up story if you're a woman, but it absolutely captured me. All I wanted

to do was be brought to the backwoods and make flapjacks for six messy guys, okay?

When seven brides for seven brothers came out in 1954,

it was nominated for several Oscars and won best scoring of a musical picture.

11-year-old Delia Efron absolutely loved it.
