So grateful to have you with us. Let's go to the Gospel of John chapter 16 beginning at verse number five. This is Jesus talking. Jesus says, but now I'm going to him who sent me. None of you asked me where are you going. Rather, you are filled with grief because I've said these things but very

truly I tell you it is for your good that I'm going away unless I go away the advocate will not come

to you but if I go I will send him to you I want to talk from this subject in our time together, family, very simply, you've been ghosted.

I want to leap into this lesson today by informing some and reminding others that out of all

the words that the Bible uses to describe the believer, listen to me, normal is not one of them.

I have engaged in exploratory research, looking at the books of the law,

looking at the books of history, looking at wisdom literature, looking at major prophets,

looking at minor prophets, looking at the Gospels, looking at the book of Acts,

looking at the congregational epistles, the pastoral epistles, looking at the Gospels, looking at the book of Acts, looking at the congregational epistles,

the pastoral epistles, looking at the general epistles, looking at the eschatological book

of revelation. And I come to the conclusion that out of all of those books, none of the words

used to describe you and me are words that are synonymous with average.

The Bible uses words like chosen, royal, holy, salt, light, ambassador, beloved, protected,

selected, elected, anointed, apple of God's eye, more than a conqueror,

head not tail, above only, not beneath, lenders, not borrowers.

It uses these types of words to paint a picture of possibility for you and for me.

And these descriptions are not intended to imply that we are not

human. We are human. These scriptures or these descriptions are intended to imply that God has called,

created, and commissioned us to be a different type of human. I'm a human, but I've been called, created, and commissioned
