0:09.3	In September of 2005, the entire nation watched in horror as Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans.
0:21.5	Who would have ever thought we would hear news like this on the news report?
0:26.3	Today, about 25,000 refugees were moved from the Superdome in New Orleans to the Astrodome in Houston.
0:36.7	Those of you who are old enough to remember that, remember those news
0:41.1	reports, do you not? The entire neighborhoods were left sitting under feet of water. Citizens hacked
0:50.0	their way onto their roofs and hopes of being rescued by helicopters.
0:56.4	Residents sought refuge in nearby cities.
1:02.0	New Orleans came to San Antonio, where I live,
1:06.6	by virtue of 12,500 evacuees.
1:10.8	It just so happened that a very good friend of mine,
1:14.7	my next door neighbor, in fact, was placed in charge of a makeshift local refugee center. A large
1:24.8	downtown warehouse was turned into a triage. Robert invited me to tour the triage with him,
1:34.2	and as we walked through the warehouse, I was struck by one fact. Everyone knew their job,
1:41.0	and everyone had a job. Some people distributed blankets, others handed out sandwiches.
1:48.5	There were a covey of medical professionals examining health concerns. Counselors and pastors
1:58.1	counseled the suddenly displaced. In fact, my friend turned to me and said,
2:05.1	you're a pastor, grab a chair, and get to work. And so I did. I've made myself useful.
2:13.4	The image of that warehouse came to mind as I was reviewing the text that we're going to consider this weekend.
2:22.5	It's one of the most inspiring, convicting, and even controversial passages that exist in Scripture in terms of the Holy Spirit.
