Imagine you're 18 years old and you have finished your public school education that the state provides for you.

Taxpayers pay for this so that we have a society of people that can

perform the tasks that we want performed as a society. Okay? Imagine if you could leave that school.

And imagine if every person that left that school

had the basic life skills to function as an adult. That's not a career yet, but the basic life

skills to function as an adult. What does that mean? A basic proficiency in the written and spoken word of our nation's language.

Every country has a national language.

If you are broken into regional languages and lack a national language, you lack nationhood.

My wife speaks a southern Indian language which is her family tongue called

Te deooo, I'm sorry, Telegu, choked on that one, called Telegu, Telegu, Telegu, Telegu, Telegu,

Thaigu.

And that is the people of Hyderabad.

And if you've done business in India,

there's a good chance if you're in the technology space that you visited Hyderabad at some point or another and or Bangalore, which has now become Tech City.

That is her regional language. The national language of India is Hindi, H-I-N-D-I, which in Pakistan is Urdu. They're basically the same language.

That's the Sanskrit-based native, uh, Sanskrit-based descendant that supposedly every Indian learns, but it's not true.

In the South a lot of people don't speak it.

Hindi is the language of northern India and educated southern Indians learn Hindi in case you go to the north and English because you

may be very likely could end up in the West studying and educated people learn English.
