As they heard Jude read to them, there would have been three groups of people that were being spoken to.

And then the key as you read Jude is to ask which category am I.

There's three kinds of people in Jude.

Why is foolish and evil.

Let me explain this to you. Some of you are familiar with this.

So, wise people live by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Foolish people live by the power of their sinful flesh,

evil people live by the power of Satan and demons.

Jesus says that you need to be discerning that a good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree bears bad fruit.

And so when he writes, those who are wise and live by the power of the Holy Spirit,

they are more mature Christians and they're like Shepherds who are looking after

the new Christians and the struggling Christians.

Those who are more foolish and they're living in their sinful flesh,

they are like sheep.

They're a little vulnerable, they're a little gullible, they need a little

tending to and protecting. Those who are evil and live by the power of demonic and satanic

forces, they are wolves.

And so the tone will be very different for the shepherds versus the sheep versus the wolves.

One of the dumbest things we tell people is to treat everybody the same.

We treat people depending upon their character.

If you're wise and filled with the Holy Spirit and love Jesus,

you can come to my house.
