Some of your new listeners don't know, but this podcast began in 2017 because of the Me Too movement

and mainly because Harvey Weinstein was a friend of mine for many years. And I, you know,

we talked almost every day when I was a gossip columnist. He's helped me. He gave me my book deal.

He gave me option scripts deal. He gave me

option scripts to be movies. I mean, we've been doing business together for a long time.

But when that happened in 2017, I felt I can't sit back. Between Trump running and me knowing

Trump personally and Harvey going down, I said, I got to, I know too much. I have to have

an avenue to talk to people and tell them the truth that I know. So that really began this podcast,

and it was a little weird because after Harvey was in, we went to rehab and then came out and

went to jail. I got a call from somebody at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office telling me they wanted me to testify
