Hey, good morning. I'm Patricia Murphy. It's Wednesday. This is Seattle now. King County

Metro's eight bus line is rarely on time. The bus runs behind schedule so often that regulars have nicknamed

the eight bus the late. Now, a dedicated group of transit advocates say they want more done

to speed things up. To draw attention, they recently challenged eight riders to come up with

fun ways to race the bus through one of its slowest sections. In a minute,

we'll hear from jugglers, leapfroggers, and more. But first, let's get you caught up.

We'll get started with early returns from yesterday's primary election. Seattle Mayor Bruce

Harold is trailing challenger Katie Wilson by 1,300 votes.

Erica Evans is leading in the race for Seattle City Attorney, surpassing incumbent Ann Davison

by more than 13,000 votes.

On the city council, Eddie Lynn, leads Adonis Duckworth, Alexis Mercedes Rink, leads Rachel Savage,

Dionne Foster is leading Sarah Nelson

in districts 2, 8, and 9. Ghrmai Zahalai leads Claudia Balducci for county executive.
