Yay everyone today's a yay day because we're posting a video on YouTube. Yeah we are.

I can't wait for you to see that but more importantly we can't wait to jump into today's devotional and put ourselves to the Lord with you daily.

And I just want to give you all a quick boost of energy that this episode is 319 of 365 and we are on the home stretch.

Amazing. So many of you have been here the entire time some of you have just discovered us and that's awesome.

And so let's just let's keep spurring each other forward to God's kingdom.

What a journey. I love it. You ready? All right you guys we're just going to jump on in today. We are in Romans 4 verses 6 through 8 and it is titled declared righteous.

It says David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who are declared righteous without working for it.

Oh what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven whose sins are put out of sight. Yes what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.

The love letter from God says beloved child. I long to see the day when you dance in celebration because you are free and forgiven.

When you truly understand who you are in me nothing will be able to steal your joy again. Celebrate that all guilt is gone.

Celebrate that no weapon formed against you will prosper. Celebrate that you have purpose. Celebrate the power you have in me to overcome anything and to do things that will further my kingdom.

Celebrate that you and I together will walk through every difficult river and you will not drown. Celebrate that you have a royal inheritance.

Most of all celebrate that you have eternity to look forward to. Love your Heavenly Father.

The reflection says when we repent of our sins God is so gracious that he not only forgives us but he even forgets our sins.

If you feel chained to your mistakes recognize that those thoughts are not from God you are free. Choose to reject the sin that is covered by the blood of Christ and choose to celebrate that this is a new day.

The treasure of truth says leave your past where it belongs at the cross.

I love how powerful that ending is. The whole thing I don't know how you were feeling as you were reading it but something that kind of just like really kept popping up in my head was that you don't have to live there.

I'm going to unpack why I said that because you used to say this quote a lot which is like you can't shame me for my past because I don't live there anymore.

I feel like we so often confuse where we live. We're living in eternity with Christ but yet we're acting as if we're still dead in our sins.
