The distraction's still gonna come out on Thursday

like normal, but because the writers' guild struck

on Monday may first, I was thinking about,

and I went back and listened to the explanation

that Michael Schur gave us back on March 9th

when he came on the podcast.

And I think that while there's a bunch of good stories

to read about why writers are striking

and sort of the broader situation

that created this crisis in Hollywood,

I think that the few minutes of explanation

that Schur gave us between all the usual dumb bullshit

in the episode is still the most lucid

and convincing to me description of why this has happened

that I've heard.

So we wanted to sort of break that out and release it.

You can still go back and listen to that episode

if you wanna hear me attempting a Lorne Michael's voice

or a bunch of goofy stuff about the New York Post.
