You're no good Samaritan.

In our day that phrase, good Samaritan has become something very different than what Jesus kind of originally intended for it to be

I mean if you look it up in the dictionary or even in like the urban dictionary I mean it's got its own urban dictionary thing

It's it's got its own Urban Dictionary thing. It's more basically something anyone does that's nice for a stranger unnecessarily. Now obviously

there are people who do incredibly heroic things for strangers.

People they don't know, people they'll never be rewarded by.

I mean you think about lifeguards, you think about firefighters and first responders

and paramedics and you know I have a good friend who he

literally jumps out of repeals out of helicopters into floods and avalanches and

and and and rescues people and he does this all for free doesn't't take a paycheck, it's just incredible.

There are people who do incredibly kind things for strangers, but it's also become sort of

like, just like, you know, someone does something kind for a stranger in a small way and it's like oh man. It's a good Samaritan.

There's still goodness in the world like the other day I left my wallet in a parking lot.

I didn't know this.

Anybody with me though you can't leave your wallet in your back pocket while you're driving.

It's just like some

sort of like man code you just got like pop it in the dash or the side you know compartment

or when I'm really lazy it just ends up on my lap or between my legs and and I guess I got

out of the car and it must have fallen out because, you know, an hour later or so my phone rang.
