It happened again. My dog, Violet. She got skunked again. On Tuesday I got back home to Texas.

And there she was ready to greet me. She was jumping, she was licking, and she does this

weird snarl thing where she shows her teeth, almost in aggressive manner, but she does it,

I guess, because she can't control her emotions, when she's happy to see you. And she hadn't control her emotions when she's happy to see you and she hadn't

seen me in something like 22 days. I was in New York City for three weeks and my

dog Dobermans are sometimes called Velcro dogs because they're constantly right

there at your side for whoever it is they bond with my Velcro dog was really excited to see me but her excitement apparently to

strap herself to my side is only exceeded by her excitement to chase skunks.
