The fantasy football season is just days away and people are still drafting the wrong players. Your leaguenates are taking the players with the big flashy names, the guys who produced one to two years ago and ignoring the players who actually have breakout upside. So in this video, I'm going to be showing you the five players you need to be drafting instead if you actually want to win your league. Now, I'm Sal Vetri. at the Bucks wide receiver room because this one is very interesting. Everybody right now, for the most

part, a lot of people are still looking at this and saying Chris Gawain, there's a good majority of

people that view Chris Gowman is still the Bucks wide receiver too. and i understand this is a guy who last year deserved this title until he got injured he was arguably the best wide receiver in fantasy working with baker mayfield mostly out of the slot in three wide receiver sets but i want to take some time to look at the first round rookie here ameka abuka right now because he's basically going drafted right next to chris goblin in drafts even though by all accounts as of this recording and probably by the time that this comes out and you're watching this, by the day, Ameca, Buka is looking like a better and better fantasy pick. If you're not familiar, Bucca went to Ohio State where he had multiple big seasons. Back in his sophomore year, he had over 1,100 yards despite tough competition, had a 26% target share playing with other current NFL players. Last year in 2024 goes over 1,000 yards.

Has a strong 24% target share despite dealing with maybe the best receiver already in college football at Ohio State in Jeremiah Smith.

This is a player in a Mecca, Buka, as you can see from Matt Harmon on reception perception in terms of how he wins.

This is a guy who absolutely dominates zone coverage.

82nd percentile is very good. Then you can see his success rate in very limited snaps, 81st percentile, also very good. And Matt Harmon would also note this is a guy who watched all the film or a lot of the reps in certain games for Abuka, Matt Harmon. He says strong set of hands as well. This is a player who worked out of the slot predominantly in college. He was dominant there

in the zone type schemes, finding that spot in the zone. He was like a veteran wide receiver, just finding the soft spots of his own and then producing after the catch. He's also known as being just an extremely efficient player. In terms of yards per out run, when he's actually out there, he earns targets from the matter who his quarterback is, and I expect that to translate into the NFL with Baker Mayfield, who's already gushing about this guy in training camp.

And as of right now, the competition is getting easier by the day. Which might seem crazy, but reports are that Chris Gowan might not be playing week one. There's a chance he goes on the Pup list and he's going to miss the first month of the season. And as of now in this recording, Jaila McMillan in the second week of preseason left the game

with what is being called a serious neck strain.

And there's not even a, we're not even sure if he's going to be ready week one. If he gets put on the Pupus, maybe by the time that you're watching this, there's more news. maybe it's more serious than we're already expecting of him potentially to miss a few games.
