And happy freaking Mother's Day

If you are listening to this, it is the day after Mother's Day, but I hope you are still feeling all the love,

all the appreciation for all that you do as moms. I hope you got some rest this weekend.

Maybe your partner took over some of your typical responsibilities at the bare minimum,

and you got to relax and enjoy your weekend. I mean, that is my hope, at least. I know Mother's Day doesn't

always go as planned, but hopefully yours was great. I mean, this might be different for everyone,

but something that has kind of affected my Mother's Day weekends is that I live close to my husband's

family. So, like, Mother's Day is always a day that we spend

with my in-laws, which like no shade to my in-laws, but like for Mother's Day, I know like I,

this is just an argument I got into with my husband this week, but I'm like, I want it to be my day.

I wanted to feel like my day and And it never does because like we're

always kind of catering to, you know, what my in-laws want to do. We're doing like a big group

celebration. We're always like, and I don't know. Again, no shade to my in-laws, but like not exactly

the relaxing ideal day that I would want to do for myself kind of thing. So I know not

everyone gets to celebrate the way they want, but here is what I have started doing in the last
