Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we

devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are picking up with day two of our kindness and the culture devotion in the Bible app.

There's a link to that in the description of the podcast if you guys want to fall along

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori's going to pick up with the

divo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Matthew, chapter 5, verse 16, and it says this, in the same way, let

your good deeds shine out for all to see so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

The devotional says, our culture has become contaminated and saturated with hatred, racism,

meanness, and a host of other expressions of contempt.

Everywhere you look, people are acting in rude and uncaring ways.

And like a bad virus, it's spreading through our society.

What we need is a revolution of kindness.

It's time for kingdom people like you and me to start spreading good things, including

kindness.

I've launched a national initiative called kindness in the culture to challenge believers

to reclaim the attitude of civility that's necessary for a peaceful and friendly environment

in our homes, our workplaces, and our society.
